Designed and executed as the artist Master's Degree project, this is a mural

located on the facade of the Kindergarten Building in the quiet Black Sea

coast town of Ahtopol, Bulgaria. Inspired by the limitless treasury of these

millennia old local fairy and folk tales, the mural is intended to challenge

children's imagination by enticing them to look for familiar characters hidden

in the intricate weaving of the mural's pattern developed in the filigree style

of the centuries-old Bulgarian craft of wood carving. Being a highly visible

component of the immediate environment the mural enhances its overall

aesthetic appearance.
